What are the differences in the W124 series?

hey guys, in the W124 series, what the difference among all the series other than the engines, the front hood and grille and the boot? Eg old w124 and Masterpiece...
Are all the front, rear lights all the same?
Can i just buy stuffs from a 2nd hand dealer shop just asking accessories for a W124 Mercedes?

Yon can inter change everything but the headlights will require that you go for the newer 124 bonnet for proper fit.

There were other differences, such as the side mouldings on the doors, the trim of the seats etc. All relatively minor, but I guess depends on what accessories you have in mind.
