I have a 1994 E220TE, in the back underneath the front seats there are some vents in the floor any ideas what they are? or what about the holes in the rear seats beside the head restraints? Thanks for any answers to these questions it's been driving me mad :)

Hi Glideman
Seen you on the Rivi forum, Welcome!!
If the vents under the front seats are the same as the 190, which they probably are, then they are the rear cabin heater ducts. They supply warm air to the rear footwells. If you lift the front footwell carpet you'll see a flat plastic duct running under the floor panel and the vents are on the end of this duct.
 As for the holes in top of the rear seat, These are the access holes for the pet cages situated under the rear seat squab. The left one is for water and the right is for food. Think of everything these Germans. If you have the economy version then the cages may not be fitted.
Glad to have you aboard. As a biker I'm sure you will bring a little bit of the Rivi spirit with you. :D
