Hi All,

Please don't shout me down for buying a car with damage, I know it's not the best way, but it enabled me to get a newer car for the same money. Better to have the car now and pay for cosmetics latter when the money comes in. :).

Now I have the extra money, I need to replace the bumper, grill, bonnet catch & and a headlight. But also there are a few bits missing in front of the AC condenser. I would appreciate some help in finding out some part numbers and what is actually missing. :)

Does anyone have an exploded diagram of the front assembly?

The central bracket is bent and broken so needs replacing, can any one give me a part number? (Photo below)

There are two metal pipes in front of the AC condenser that are loose. I'm sure that they should not be! Looks like there are some brackets missing?

Can someone take a picture of the front of their W211 so I can see what else might be missing? Or better still give me some names and part numbers of the bits that are missing.

I am hoping to find all the bits used, but need to know what i am looking for.

(this car is a left hand drive if that makes any difference?)

Thank you.

The bit in the middle is a section for the distronic radar, that you probably don't have.

The other bits, the dealer should be able to give you pricing, as they will be cheapest

Thank you, Alexander,

You are right I don't have Distronic. So this on my car it has no actual purpose and can be removed? or does it have some kind of support purpose, and I would be advised to replace it?

It holds the bonnet catch catch.

That is really helpful thank you!! :) That makes a lot more sense of al the holes and gaps!

I see the pipe routing is slightly different in front on the AC condenser for your E55. So there may well be and additional / different bracket to hold my pipes in place.

If any one has a 280 or 320 CDI with similar pipe placement that has the correct brackets? A similar pic or part numbers, would be super helpful,

thank you Guys / Ladies

As mentioned look on the EPC which provides vin specific details, or as noted go to the dealers as you will get the appropriate part. dealers are useful as they will print the parts diag if you are there and you can show them what you want or take the parts guy out to the car to show him....
