I have said before that a friend was married to a Danish lady, and she always argued with the Sat Nav, so he changed the language to Danish and she never complained again.

I only have one blank button, when I think of something I will let you know.

My layout is different to yours, but having every extra made on the car, most are taken up.

Blobcat used to tease me about how I could live with that blank switch, but I am getting used to it being there doing nothing but to get to the front of mine you start by removing all of the rear behind the seats and work you way forward 4 hours min, so I do need a good reason when I use it.

I disagree. If you use an engine heater then the emissions should be better at start up so less global warming. As we all know it is car emissions that cause global warming and electrickery is as clean as a government ministers conscience. No pollution from electrickery as it comes out of the nice white sockets on the wall ;-)

Talking to my ex today in Sweden I could have moved back there, then the heater would be useful, but the catch 22 is that I would not use it in the winter there.
No sighs of relief, if I did go back as the internet makes no difference as to where you are, and Anyweb functions very well from there.
Maybe I can use it for the digital TV as they all freeze at some point, and you need to kill the power to it.

You could always just buy the switch front, that way no nasty blanks to draw your eye

Malcolm, just order up an illuminated switch - so when you switch it on it lights up to tell you that you have used it ! At least that way you will know it actually does something - theres only one thing worse than having a switch blank - and thats having a switch that doesn't do anything !

If you headed back over there Malcolm, could be an interesting drive for a GTG:D But then you would have to put us all up:p

Get a switch with a big ? question mark on it, certainly make an interesting conversation piece when it lights up.
You could then take a picture and post it on another forum asking "What does this switch do? " Be interesting to see what they come up with :)

Or a little sign lights up saying "Please do not press this button again"
