I rather like the look of the new clc coupe but of course have not seen it in the flesh, did not like the look of the previous model but allthough this one is based on it or be it revised in lots of ways in the pictures it looks good wondered what you all think the last one was a bit girly this one looks a bit more hunky?:)

Hello

Too be honest is doesn't look that much different? and like the bmw compact I have never really liked them. Looks chopped off at the back? Sorry I know its a merc forum....but no point telling it otherwise?

Rear brake light looks ok I guess (pic from Geneva show. Shockingly tiny exhaust)

With the right spec, biger wheels etc I'm sure it will be ok :)

Havent seen this picture before and agree with what you say but a v6 with bigger pipes and sport pack may look better the bmw coupe looks good in msport mode with the 18in alloys

Pity they did away with the narrow window at the bottom of the tailgate, that used to be really handy for reversing, without it rear visibility is going to be pretty poor just like in the other coupes of this size, eg the A3.

I don't like the coupe - looks too bulky for its length - but the convertible is nice.

Hard to tell, though, from photos - I didn't think much of the new Jag but it's very handsome in the metal.

Not a fan of the shape.

I never like the coupe model in the last generation C-class which is why I bought the saloon. The front end looks lovely then you walked round the back and it all goes wrong for me!

The convertible version looks good though - although again pointless in this country, we've had our two weeks of sun so there goes summer 2008!!!)

Obviously I'm biased but I prefer the old shape, hence didn't wait for the CLC. Unusual shapes always divide opinion so for me they are making the model blander, particularly at the back. I assume it is just as good to drive though - as long as it is in Sport form.

I think it looks ok. The back is something one has to get used to though.

Pity also that the interior is just a small update on the old Coupe and C class.

Go on to www.mercedes-benz.de and build your own on MB's new "build your car" function. You can then choose some really nice wheels etc.
