Nothing wrong with the miles it's travelled, could have been used as a private hire car.
Best to always get a inspection report when buying though. MB service is always a plus but doesn't mean too much, I think Indy's do a better job. If you can barter a better price after inspection, fine by me ;)

Looks good , has the dealer got a list of what work/parts have been replaced ?
I’d want another £1000 spare for just in case stuff

One worry I would have is that full MB history means the gearbox atf has only been done at 37500 miles , unless of course it’s had any gearbox work in its history

It looks a good car to me. As Wighty suggests, spending 3 grand on a car, you should anticipate some maintenance costs. Full MB service history seems astonishing over that sort of mileage. I'd read it closely but if it all checks out & drives nicely, you don't have much to lose.

Welcome, huge miles but they are built for it, rarer 7 seat option too. I'd be studying the service history hard but otherwise decent punt

Don’t worry about the milage, that engine can do that 3 times over ( go over to Tenerife the taxies over there do a million miles) but pls check the servicing records, on any merc they are a must.

As others have said, plus put the veh reg number in to the government MOT history site.
Also pop round to your local friendly MB dealer & see if you can get the service history printed off.

Looks in very good condition Matt.

As above it would be sensible to see the history if possible and maybe confirm that “motorway miles” comment - which could be true if it was used for airport runs etc.

Also, as per Wighty’s comments - if you buy it, have a transmission service done immediately (if not sooner)!

It could very easily turn out to be a very sensible buy. If I was in the market, I’d give it serious consideration - if its mechanical condition matches its looks then it really is a steal.

Good luck Matt - let us know what happens...
