As title, top of photo. Can't recall seeing this before. What does it indicate?

Thanks Blobcat, I'm leaning something new every day with this car.
Mercedes Me came with the car when purchased for 12 months. I've used the service once recently and Mercedes told me it can only be renewed if the last service was by MB. (last service was by an indi.) but they overlooked it on this occasion. I needed assistance and the Mercedes technician was unavailable so they sent the RAC!
