ML270 A Service : €213.00 or €262 (fully synthetic oil)
B Service : €387.00
C220CDI A Service : €215.00 or €257.00 (fully synthetic oil)
B Service : €368.00
Labour charges: 1 Arbeitswert (work unit) = 5 minutes - from €7.40 to €8.90 dependent upon type of job. ie. Replace 5 glowplugs, drilling 2 out was 19 arbeitswert @ €7.40 x 19.
1€ = 0.6868pence.
All prices + 16%VAT.

Prices of Harrogate Main Dealer:
ML270 A Service : GBP280.00
B Service : At least double A Service, dependent upon mileage.
Labour charges: GBP85.00
All prices +17.5%VAT.

I was charged almost twice what I was quoted for the service AND they included items like windscreen wash replacement when I had already done it a few days before. Cheated? Well, I have cause for concern!

Think yourself lucky that you did not have a ball hitch, in the service menu it says smear a little grease on to the ball and charge extra for this.

And if your tow hitch is removable they will probably charge you the time to find it in the boot before they grease it
