What Engine Oil On E200 1999?

What engine oil grade do you recommend for E200 1999?

Depends what was in it previously. Also how many miles.
In general I use semi synthetic, Shell Helix plus 10-40 in my E220 coupe. I use fully synthetic Mobil, 5-30 in the Quattro and Lotus. So if you have a nice new engine and want to whiz, use the expensive stuff, otherwise semi works fine for both petrol and diesels.
If its a bit tired, and drinks the stuff, go up to 50.
