how can i find out what gearbox is in my car ..its a c200 .. 2000 model w202 auto..

It will be a 722.602. Check this on the data card in the service book or put your vin number in here...

Should be the 5 speed electronic box with the D to 4 change on a left to right movement. Plenty of info on a search of 722.6 which is your gearbox type. Needs special Merc fluid and is the "sealed for life" (not) gearbox used from 1996 onwards on all Mercedes.
