I had to get the Air con re-gassed
Compressor was not running due to low pressure fault
Cleared it with my MBv2

Just changed the O2 sensor under the car on the E class , I used a Bosch one again because when I went on eBay to check which one I had ordered a couple of years ago I saw they had a 5 year warranty .
So this time it’s a free swap this time .

Today is fitted the new second hand selector module and now it starts and displays the gear selection in the instrument cluster

Just been out in the wet and decided that windscreen wipers are stupid!!
The design doesn't seem to have changed at all.
My car can recognise when I'm not responding to any prompts or alarms, pull over to the side of the road and stop, unlock the doors and put the hazard lights on then call the emergency services, but it still has windscreen wipers designed at least 80 years ago!!! Stupid things that flap, flap, flap in front of your face!!
....not that I'm feeling grumpy today!

If you have aero blades, they only date back to the early noughties; tournament blades date back to the late 70s... all attempts at frictionless surfaces to remove the need for wipers have so far failed

If you a decent car wash with ProShield you'll find that at pretty much any decent speed the water just flies of the screen.

Spent a happy few hr on the W208 getting the below screen water drain panel out.no fun .yrs of crud to get out. And vac pipe under holed by ,rodent !

Cleaned the auxiliary battery terminal that got furred up. Hope it's going to correct an intermittent fault I keep getting.

Best thing you can do is to take the auxiliary battery out saving 5kg in weight , saving quite a few components an early death and the ability to sell the battery if deemed good to the Mercedes OCD types !

Extracted the injector with the help of the common rail injector extractor kit and brake clean

No head off Chris, I have most of the crud stopped from going down inside of the engine. I will use my sucker and Blower
It was so sound deadened with this thick substance that it displayed no real giveaway chuffing. When the cover was removed, with great difficulty as the cover was stuck to the coal substance, was when this was apparent. But I am always up for a challenge
