Nothing other than continue to park it under a tree for a few more days... It's been there for 11 days so far...





It might need a bucket of water throwing over it soon..

The tree sap is doing a great job of trapping flies and wasps...

So some of that Poo could be 11 days old I would have had that off within hours or at least as soon as I had spotted it !

It’s sat on tree sap so should be fine…

Hoovered out the SLK today, what an absolute pigs mess, don't know how people can share space with what was found
Food, one with a 2020 expiry date, luckily the let over food was out of smell as well, sticky stuff, crisps, cigarettes butts and half smoked ones.
One consolation though, ashtray clean and unused This was just the remainder of the rubbish, had to unbolt the seats to get to the crumbly stuff

I had already got rid of all the Red Bull and bigger rubbish that wouldn't go up the hoover.
I bought a Rover 820 that was used as a dump, that cleaned up okay too

Sold the ML420CDI today as it just isn’t getting used and it’s a shame to let it sit there and seize up . It’s been a good 11 yrs / 130k of ownership and I will definitely miss that twin turbo V8 diesel.

My brother is getting rid of his ML270 its a 53 reg when he bought of off friends it was in fantastic condition but alas my brother did not look after it at all, so after many years it has just disintergrated, he now getting a Dacia under PCP :-(

Did 245 miles this morning back home from the Beaulieu meet yesterday. Obviously the same was done going down there on Saturday, combined with the run to and from the hotel to the venue, it's made this weekend the furthest I've travelled in this car in one hit since I've owned it. It was nice to get about and meet people again and made me appreciate the ride quality of the car. Spent most of the time in comfort mode though I did manage a little play with S+ on a little detour which I took just to break the monotony of the motorways.

All in all a simple run, taking 4.5 hours averaging 28mpg according to the dash reading.

Looking forward to the next trip already.
