I find a diff oil change very satisfying , I know it's only in the service schedule for performance cars like yours and 4x4's , but it always comes out black and mucky.

It's both performance and a 4x4, so double the reason to changed it. :D

If like me though you have 0.7L remaining you will think I could buy another Litre for £13 and my next diff change is nearly free :D

This happened today as I had nearly a full one from the change on the 190 where I bought two litres. :)

How’s the shoulder though Dave?

Not working as it should be unfortunately John. :(

I've got to farm a job out next week as it's all overhead work and my arm just won't seem to go there. I will however be using a new local indie so we'll see how we go with him. I've asked him to do a full check on the car while he has it in. It'll be interesting to see what he comes up with, as I know the car is pretty much spot on after undergoing a full refurbishment less than 2,500 miles ago at a well respected Mercedes specialist...

No worries. I have 2 now and will be taking them to France this weekend for the 500SL and the Smart over winter. Liberates the CTEK to come back to the UK (its a 10A one so overkill for trickle charging!)

Quite interesting tread pattern....
First impressions (excuse the pun!) are good, smooth ride (despite having the higher pressures in for winter tyres....recommended 42psi, I’ve opted 40 all round), grippy...
Slightly more oversteer than the P Zero summers and as you can imagine with this tread, quite a bit noisier!
Still turn the radio up and that’s taken care of...and I’d rather a bit more noise than be in a ditch, that’s for sure!
I will report further......

Used to have a C63...
They are good aren't they?

Mine only played on the wet roads coming out of Plymouth city centre... but still...
