Look killer to me!!!View attachment 50923 View attachment 50924 Do you think I’ve made a mistake painting the inner part of my tail pipe tips. This is part of the car I’ve neglected, due to the fact I can’t kneel down because of bad knees. So I made a painful effort to clean them up as they let the car down. I’m not sure I’ve done the right thing...
Quad exhausts on an SL55 never look tackyThanks guys, I was not sure, thought it may look tacky...

Hope you’re talking about the car there..Done the engine mounts on the old girl ready for her Belguim trip coming up!! First time she has ever been silky smooth since I have owned it!!!
AgreedView attachment 50940 Today I had a delightful and sometimes spirited drive down to Bude in Cornwall. The weather was perfect. Could not have the roof down because we has two cases, the dogs bits and pieces his crate, his bedding, his toys, and food, my wife’s need for extra towels and her handbag, (which tested the suspension) food for the weekend, a crate of beers abirtday cake that my wife’s daughter bought her and a helium ballon...however the view is worth it...
Hope you’re talking about the car there..
When you guys coming up our way, anyway?
Failed suspension ?I see you shakin that ass...
Wow! I wish I could have been there, those cars look fantastic...
It was a real treat Les. They drew up outside hotel reception and I grabbed some photos then went up to my room. Minutes later I looked out as they were marshalled into space beside my car. Couldn't resist, I had to go back down and get a picture of mine in their line. The duty manager was very impressed by the 190 and declared it, 'The nicest car we've ever had here.' They stayed one night, then set off for Newquay. They're Germans touring the west country. One of them had a 1957 Jaguar, 2 seater convertible. All in lovely condition.
Only thing is they’ll be black within a month ( ask me how I know ?), meantime look fabulous ! I have bad knees too so last time I took them off to do ( Tip from Daveenty didn’t know they were just held on with a torx!)Thanks guys, I was not sure, thought it may look tacky...
