What is the difference?

It may seem like a dumb question, but what is the difference between 200d/220d/300d? (modern engines)
When I search in google there are discussions on why to one vs the other, but I can't find any details.

Not an expert, but would guess - number of turbos, injector size, state of tune !

isn't a 200 a single turbo & a 220 a twin? ... no idea about the 300
