Just a suspicion she is not dropping down to 7th gear as early as normal.
in fairness, we were late taking wife to airport, so I hammered it when ever possible.
But got the feeling she was in 6th gear in D mode ( and S on the S/C/M mode ).
After 10 mins plodding around, at 65 I pulled the paddle and it showed 6, but the revs didn't increase.
Likewise when I pulled the right paddle and it showed D the revs didnt drop.
only time I recall trying this before was, well at a good speed, and pulling the left paddle showed 6th gear and the engine revs increased.
My only concern is they changed the Transmission cooler rad, when they replaced the grill after hitting a small deer at circa 37mph.
They said 3 fins were slightly bent bu plastic grill, but no leaks - he said it really need changing. Just wondering if they got the oil level right?
Note I know this gearbox is clever i.e. adapts to your style of driving, ie. Driving hard she drops down gears faster, but pretty sure in the past; she calms down fairly quickly when you start driving like an old guy.
would it show if the transmission oil was low on the dashboard?
