Got a puncture on the side of the road and don't have the correct tool to unlock the wheels nuts.
Repair guy wants to know kind of wheel nut it is.

Car is in the middle of nowhere right now, of course i didnt have my phone and had to walk 8km home. What a nightmare.

Anyone know? Thats the alloy below, cant seem to find a picture of the nuts online

Standard size bolts are M12 1.25 pitch 40mm long from memory.

However, if it's the locking wheel nut. You'll most likely need to order from the dealer

Or use a locking wheel nut remover. About £10 from most car spare shop's

Only issue with the locking wheel bolt removers is that the wheel bolts are usually so recessed on a Mercedes that they don’t fit in the hole. :(

When I got my W251, first thing I done was check if the emergency items in the boot were complete.
it was missing many items, compressor, towing eye, warning triangle.
I always check its complete.
The wheel nut needs a specific nut key. Hopefully available from MB.
The removal tools are likey to damage the keyed nut. So best to replace all with standard as you will lose the keyed removal nut in the future or someone will forget to replace it......dont ask me how I know.
Good luck!
