Oh dear, I wonder who thought that was a good idea?
It really needs to be returned to original spec and throw away those horrible rust retainers on the wheel arches.

I grew up where rust was not a problem (Jo'burg 6000' above sea level) and as a young man, I always liked the look of those chrome covers (I still like the look on the older MBs).

I completely agree Rory however, when you've been brought up and reside in the UK, you soon learn what a pita rust is.

No the shot is from the movie "Too Late" but it does look a bit like him.
