What Oil for an SLK 230 K

I am about to purchase a 1999 SLK 230 K, can anyone advise me what is the MB Spec for the grade/quality of engine oil that should be used in this car. Is it fully or semi synthetic ?

Also, I plan to renew the tranny fluid (using MB Auto Fluid) and filter on the transmission, can anyone tell me whether the TC can be statically drained as well the box or does it need a dynamic flushing procedure to renew the fluid for the whole box ?

Mobil 1 0w40 engine oil is recommended by MB for all petrol engines.

Early TCs have a drain bolt, later ones don't. I think the change was around 99/00 but someone may be a bit more accurate.
