What phone comes with a CLK?

As title my 2004 clk is missing the phone. Bought a nokia 6310 thinking its that but its not!!! The merc phone cradle is much smaller.

Any ideas? done a google search and found zilch

It depends upon which cradle was ordered originally with the car. As I think yours is new enough to have the replaceable cradles you could look at changing it to one to suit your phone or even a bluetooth cradle.

Being simplistic the replaceable versions unclip and leave a small black connector. It very much depends upon what system was installed in the car. I don't know when MB started putting the phone pre-wiring in which accepts the cradles. Alfie and a few others on here have the information.

If you can find the part number of the cradle you could put it into the online MB parts website and that with luck should tell you what phone it works with. Or you could ask the previous owner.

If you take your Vin No. along to the dealer, they will tell you which phone was originally fitted.

Looking at the cradle, is there a small dimple button towards the top left corner?
If so, press it and slide the cradle backwards. If it comes off you have your answer.
If its an interchangeable cradle so you can swap it for a bluetooth one or one appropriate for your phone. Interchangeable (Universal Handy Interface or UHI) cradles were introduced around mid 04 so my 54 plate E has this system but some earlier 04 models were hard wired.
