I took my 2007 GL320 to the local dealer as it seemed to have 3 idle speeds.
When the car is at normal running temp on start up it idles at 650rmp after a short drive it would either idle at 950rpm or 1050rpm. On picking up the car from the dealer they informed the throttle switch has been replaced due to the old one sticking. After a short drive the car was idle at 950rpm again which it seems to do 90% of the time, I went back to the dealer I was told thats what they do but they agreed to take the car back in and check it over again. Before the cars goes back in and I get fobbed off by the dealer can anyone tell me if this is normal for it to idle at 950rpm, this seems high to me.
Thanks
