Hi All,

I have decided to trade in my 15in alloys on my mercedes c180 (97Preg) for some really nice 16inch alloys. I went to have them fitted today from a local tyre place but the wheel nuts are to small.
Does anybody know what size wheel nuts I will need ?
The alloys are off a 2006 slk .
All replies appreciated

39 mm thread

Hi Mr T Bear,

thanks for the reply and information, i've looked on the website and found
some that are 39mm thread , i'm assuming these should be the right ones.
I've measured the ones that i already have from below the seating which are probably 24/25mm thread. This is the correct way of measuring the wheel nut isn't it ?

thanks

sara

when you get bolts be sure to spin the wheels first to test they dont rip the springs off the parking brake esp if you buy locking wheel bolts i got a set for a w124 off ebay & had to cut 15mm off to clear the brakes

Well the short answer is no. However I would go with their recomendation.
Have you checked the ET? are the wheel's compatable.
IF they're fancy; four locking wheel bolts too.
I have nothing to do with that site by the way.;)

Yeah, i learned that one the hard way, just took the salesmans word in autostore and fitted locking nuts that were too long.
