What tyre pressures ??

Hi,

Can anyone help me with the correct tyre pressures for my car (C250TD) it is fitted with alloy wheels with tyre size 235/45 R 17 94W
As I don't have the handbook and I suspect they were not the original fit anyway I would appreciate your help.

There is a sticker in the fuel lid, and the pressures stay the same for any size of wheel or tyre for that car

Thank you, I did see the sticker there and have set the tyres at those pressures but I thought if the tyres had been changed from original to low profile then the pressures may have been different.
But all is well now

Tim, you can vary the pressures a little either way, it depends on how you find the car rides and corners, you will find a happy medium within a couple of pounds

Use the pressures marked on the inside of the fuel filler flap as a starting point, then follow 'Television's advice, above. Varying the pressures can have a dramatic and positive effect. Get them wrong and you'll soon know it.
