What tyres fitted originally?

Hello all.
I now proudly own a '03 model facelift S320 cdi.
The tyres need replacing. The car has factory supplied AMG wheels, checking on the chassis number, this is proven by the option coding for both supplying them with the car and the mod to the wheel arch(es) to accomodate them.
Sadly the Russian website to check option codes does not state the correct tyre size that should be on the car.
The tyres on the car are a bit of a 'mix and match' so all need replacing.
Where will I find the definitive answer to this please?
Thanks.
And sorry if this is in the wrong slot!!!

what tyre sizes are currently on it?
I can understand mixed makes - but sizes?
Original makes are normally Bridgestone or Continental (sometimes Michelin) but make is irrelevant anyway.

Hi there bloke from Leeds. Thanks for replying.
Fronts are sporting 245 45 18.......one is 96H M&S, the other a 96Y non M&S.
Both are Dunlops.
Rears, Both Goodyear 245 40 18 93Y.
I checked the Michelin website, the rear size that I have on do not appear on their recommendations.
Their 'optional' fitment' sizes are Front 245 45 18 96Y
Rear 275 40 18 99Y
The tyres fitted to the rear do not need replacing but they are the incorrect size. The fronts are Fubar'd.
When I bought the car last month the cruise control would intermittently fail to engage. I put this down to the tyre combination.
I called at Costco in Leeds this morning and priced their Michelin tyres. Fronts 172-71 each, rears 205-73 each. The rear I was told was a special order and made only for Mercedes cars, or thats what the bloke told me.
Reading the forums, I am still undecided and unsure of what size to fit or what make to use. An expensive thing to get wrong!!

Certainly a good mix. By the way, give Alba on Geldherd Road a ring. They're normally the cheapest folk around and they're also the folk MB Leeds use (being across the road) so they may well know the right sizes too. ailing that, a quick trip across the road should reveal the answer!

Try these guys - I bought 4 for mine - they were the cheapest, by far.

AND free delivery.

You were 100% correct about your cruise control - same happened to me - hence 4 new tyres..!!
