Hi There

I wanted to change the front drivers wing on a 94 E300 Diesel Multi valve, you know the one with the air vents in it?....Would any earlier model wings without the air vent fit on or an equivalent year petrol perhaps fit also? and how far back in years can I go to get a wing that will fit? and what are the implications for the air intake? can I re route without causing any ill effect to the engine?

Many thanks

Billy

You can be sure that they were not put there without a reason. Not sure if the pre 93 facelift wings are the same. I think the bonnet has a different profile.

Hi Pascal

So stick to post 93 then.......I would agree about being there for a reason, but as it's only probably ducting of some sort, then, maybe, it could be re routed......

Thanks

I was wondering when someone would spot that??!?!?!
I was trying to hide the fact it was the multi valve diesel model, never liked the air vent in that location, but wanted the muli valve model!!
nothing illegal like, that's all
