What year and model?

I have just purchased my first Merc, 230E Sal Auto 86D old shape. I notice everone seems to have various W numbers and model numbers that I am clearly void of.

Also, anyone out there own one of these thats godd on the techies?

I think 1986 will mean its a W124....when you say old shape, you need to be a little more specific.
