Still prefer the G-Wagon to the new GL. In fact the Land Rover Discovery 3, which (in my opinion) is the best looking 4x4 on the road today, looks a lot like the G-Wagon.

Absolutely. And the steps cut into the fuel tanks. Nice touch to give easier access as he got less mobile.
