whats it worth ?

thinking of selling my 1996 c250turbo diesel classic estate, manual metalic burgundy with cream leather interior, full history although not all merc dealer. done 142k miles. very good cond. what should i expect to get for it please anyone ?? thanks shaun

I got £1600 for a mint 1995 C220 petrol saloon (90k) a few months ago and that was a bit of a struggle. Ended up selling to someone who knew us so knoew the car's history. Based on my experience, yours should be worth a fair bit more - diesel, estate, newer etc (mileage shouldn't be too much of an issue).
If you're looking for a quick sale, I'd say around £2200-£2500, if you can hold out for someone who can recognise it for what it is, nearer £3k.
Autotrader is a guide but for cars like that, the asking price ranges wildly.
