I went for petrol this morning and then noticed a clicking noise from some where in the back of the car.

It varies in that it clicks faster as the car speeds up.

It stops when I stop the car and starts again when it's moving.

I found it and sorted it without leaving the drivers seat.

What was it?

One of your kids stuch a piece of cardboard through one of the wheels.like they do in the spokes of their bikes or you had a nice stone or nail in the tyre.

My son said " try opening and closing the doors"!

Tried it but no change!

The clue is that the noise was coming from the instrument panel!

Good answers but not even close!

OK!

When I got petrol I reset the trip milometer and eventually realised it was jammed and the gears in the clock were clicking.

Mileometer had stopped too.

It was Really Loud!

Good, don't ever push the reset button on the move or you will strip the internal gear, goodnight, got to go to bed.

It did sound as though it was coming from the back.

My son thought it was coming from the NSR door.

You would never have thought it was a clock!
