Whats the best oil

Whats the best oil to use in my 1995 S500 coupe, Im about to do an oil change myself but want to know what the best oil would be.

Get a good fully synthetic, its the cheapest protection you can get.
If you have access to firms like Cosco, Makro etc they sell 4-5 liters for around £15.00 Lots of recent postings on the subject, do a search.

I would look for a decent 5w-40 synthetic which carries at least MB229.3
