Playing with the idea of buying a 2016-2018 C63 or C63S. Can anyone tell me the idiots guide to what are the main differences? Or indeed anything to look out for?

TIA

Condition is what I’d really be concerned about, so many get “modded” and ruined.

@AMGeed can probably advise one “s” and none “s” variants - I’m away in Scotchland so unable to dig out the info

^ I'm familiar with the W212 63's but not the 205 C class 63's I'm afraid.

Used to have a C63...
Non S, in 205 guise, is something in the region of 470 bhp, the S is 510.

S gets some trim embellishments, bigger alloys (and I think, possibly, brakes) and sports exhaust. There may be a tweaked diff in S, but don't quote me on that one!

I was looking at them this time around and was happy to consider either - the best spec & condition car, irrespective of S or non-S.

Would probably have preferred the non-S for my needs - 18" alloys as standard, and anything over 450 bhp is likely plenty! (And about £5-£6k less on a circa 5 Yr old car.
