Does anyone know the difference between a 722.7 and a 722.6 transmission ? The reason i ask is i can buy a ATF dipstick for a .7 and i wondered if it would do a .6 box

Sorry and nothing like the same box,. 722.7 is A class only

Ok Malcom, i have just spotted a dipstick for a 722.6 which has ended on evilbay so i have e mailed the seller (in the states) and im awaiting a reply. I could go down the curtain wire route but i dont feel comfortable about that so will buy a correct one, even if i have to source it outside the UK !!!!!!!

Many others have bought them from the USA without any problems, it is only a small package and should not get duty levied upon it
