Whats this??

I have a 300CE (1990). On the passenger door, there is a small plastic panel that looks like a light cover (between the two door storage areas). I've tried to open it but without forcing it and chancing breaking it, I can't be sure. If there is a light, I can't see it and it isn't working.
Also, does the 300CE have different sized mirrors on the passenger door to the drivers door? Mine seems to have a small square one on the passenger side and a wider one on the drivers side.

my mirrors are the same as yours on my 300ce so must be normal also the door panels are the same.
