Hi,
How frequent do you do wheel alignment(tracking) for your car?

When you've hit the kerb and the vehicle starts to pull in one direction or you notice uneven wear on the inside or outside of your front tyres.

... and I guarantee that every time you have it checked it will be "a couple of mill out". And that your steering wheel will be just everso slightly not ahead full (as it were).

Obviously this is sour grapes on my part as I've just had to get 4 new tyres and the only thing wrong with the front tyres was because of tracking that I should have had checked!

It will always be out by a mill or so, you only have to drive it down the road and back or just off the ramp. I suspect this is why they recommend weighting it down to remove the slack in the system, though most garages seem to get reasonable results without.
I had mine done a few months ago but the vibration at speed is starting to creep back so I may pop back for another front wheel balance and track check. I recon every 6 months isn't unreasonable for fussy buggers like me. (Normal folk probably have it done every 3 years or so!)

From one fussy bugger to another once every six months is about right
