Hi all

I now have the vibe problem sorted out on the W210 E 320--almost glides now.
Looks like the rear offside wheel was damaged!
The cure was replacing all 4 wheels with some of a W210 E Avantgarde.
Unfortunately the original bolts are too long and stick out like, ahem, Scammel wheel nuts!
These are the very long bolts with the shoulder/taper half way down.

My Mc Gard lockers fit perfectly at Overall 60mm/ Bottom of taper to tip 39 mm/ dia 12mm.
There are a few sets on Ebay of 60X40X12 bolts, but the threaded portion is only
20mm, IE 50% of the shank.

Will these be suitable? I'm wary of splashing out to find that the thread bottoms before the taper has a chance to seat the wheel.

Hi I recently had to sort out the bolts on my SL 320 and after much research in general and help from Malcolm (Television) it seems you need to have 7 turns of thread into the hub which on 12 x 1.5 threads is 12mm so 20mm should be fine. Hope this helps. Barry
