about to fit some amg alloys to my 1994 c class

my wheel bolts are nowhere near long enough !

where is best place to get the right ones from or is it a stealer only job

stealership will set you back about 50 quid. There's usually plenty going on ebay- that's where I got mine.

If the wheels are genuine AMG (casts) 7J x 15 et 37 (B6 6 03 1002), the bolt set is B6 6 47 0104.

E-Bay - between £15 - £25, (plus around £5 p/p) depending on your luck! I got a set of 20 brand new MB in packs two weeks ago, £12.28 + £6 p/p, but I was particularly fortunate I think.

P.S. These were the 60mm bolts (40mm shank).

Long Wheel bolts

Hi, i have just got some 95mm long bolts for my 300 SL (107) from an american e bay chap who deals extensively in new wheel bolts and cheap too, i paid £34.00 for 20 quality new bolts with postage, look up on e bay 4547735920 for details.

Does anybody know the pitch on Wheel Bolts, they are 12mm bolts but my 12mmx1.75mm tap doesn't match up?

That's still a bargain. Our local Rover dealer charges £5 plus VAT each!! And that's for a 9yo Rover 200!!

I think you are right.

I need to rethread some bolt holes on the chassis, they are the same thread as the wheel bolts.
