Hi All

Does any member know if it is possible to obtain the neat little circular toolbox/container that fits inside the spare wheel cavity? I've never seen inside one and would imagine the internal space isn't great. I have an MB air compressor; I think that would fit inside.

Any idea of price? What is its correct description?

Hi Malcolm

Made of polystyrene!. Does that mean it will be relatively inexpensive to purchase?

Do you know its proper description? I might be able to obtain one on eBay. I image one from an SL would fit a C-class? I imagine they're about 6 - 7 inches deep?

It is the sort of item that could be found in a Mercedes scrapyard? I believe owners often transfer them between cars when they upgrade? They're quite desireable objects.
