For me they're all a bit fussy.

1 looks more like something that would be OEM and most subtle in my opinion.

What about these 19s, look great imo, and so, so, easy to clean. :)

The only issue with them all is they only come in square except the rse's but they have a 10" rear I'm sure 275/35 will fit :)

They are look too OTT and like a spiders web.

Those by smart amg are more merc esq, simple and stylish.

Look at the merc original options - merc designers are pretty good when it comes to Alloys and the car.

Have you took a peek on alloy wheels direct for more ideas.

Problem with oe Merc is the price like 3.1k for a set of 19"AMG ones and honestly they aren't really worth it when they just look like all the other AMG line cars then 3.3k for brabus ones the issue with all of them is diamond cut finishes are just a pain in the ass:(

Three or five.
No1 - a bit OTT for the car. I would expect those on an agressive sporty design like Ferrair or Lambo.
No2 - Similar reasons to No1.
No3 - Similar reasons, but darker paint makes the design a little more subtle.
No4 - Similar reasons to No1.
No5 - Interesting design. Not too sporty for the car, but will be a pain to keep clean.

I tend to have a strong preference against black or very dark wheels.

I also tend to agree with Mioba/bembo in that car manurfacturers tend to have a good understanding of what works best vs after market wheels and I would probably prefer OEM than after market.

No point having fancy wheels if they are always dirty.
Diamond cut can only be re-cut a limited number of times on refurb.

Cannot say for MB, but certainly for Porsche OE wheels were usually BBS or similar quality, hence the high cost of OE wheels. I expect MB would take a similar approach and use very high quality wheels from a high quality producer. So, yes OE wheels might be expensive, but there could be a very good reason for that.

There is, a safety recall for spokes cracking off the hub (famous case study of the Navarra pickup truck here) is zero laughing matter!

yeah mercedes oe is ronal and the amount ive seen that are cracked yes thats mainly down to the runflats but also the construction of the rim just cant take it (hence im looking for wheels) both the manufacturers ive show are both very good company's Rotiform and BBS im wanting to avoid the Chinese replica wheels

the cracking ive had isnt the only reason mainly its the horrible ride even on the air suspension that the dealer insists is fine
