While tootling along at 150mph, I had a wheel failure. This caused me to carouse off the road and into a pile of tyres. I was initially knocked unconcious and then had to spend the night in hospital.

Has anybody else had this problem?

That is strange, my next door neighbour had a problem with his right rear tyre, this very day (yesterday now) and ended up in a wall. He has a broken ankle.

I hope things like this don't come in threes.

No problem if a wheel comes off, thats why they give you a spare one, and if you break a leg, use the other one

I'm afraid it is a common problem when you buy fake AMG alloys off eBay. Next time, look for the little silver dot on the inside of the rim - then you will know they are genuine

Try Halfords 'own brand' next time - 16,000,000 Saxo and Corsa owners can't be wrong.!
