Wheel noise

Afternoon all
Got a noise from front I think , A class W169
Sound like a bearing , drones on then slows when you slow down Still there when dip clutch. Jacked up and spun all 4 wheels but nothing. No movement in the hubs not grating as it rotates.
can they be noisy or on way on and not show when spinning by hand

Check your tyres. Some brands (Pirelli , Conti) can start droning when more than half worn, to all intents and purposes sounds like a bearing failure. Your description sounds very much like this....

Thanks. They were only medium range as when fitted I was going to sell it but turned into decent car so we kept it. Think Tyres only done 1000 miles if that.
