Wheel scraping o/sf fender

Hi guys,

Having a problem with my motor at the moment.

bought the car a few months back now.
Mileage is about 104K miles with no problems.

Got some trouble now, the car had been lowered before i bought it. now the os/f wheel is rubbing on the wheel arch whenever i turn a right corner. the clearence is different whereby you can get your hand under between the ns/f and struggle with the os/f.

checked underneath by a fitter and he can see no aparant damage or wear. the dampers seem to be doing their job ok.

would the spring on that side be due for renewal? do i have to replace both sides at the same time or is one side ok?

if it is the spring what one do i go for as this car has been lowered?
how do i get the right spring?

Replaced springs now

Now ive replaced the springs on the car it was still sagging on the os/f.

Oh and i have 2 bump pads on the front. Ganna need 3 bump anyway!

Upon changing the ns/f i found that the spring had snapped near the last coil at the bottom. ****** hell! with all the rust around it it had been like this for a while!

Upon closer examination ive found that the os/f lower arm ball joint rubber is compressed a lot more than the ns/f.

im gonna go ahead and put a new ball joint in i think. ive checked the wishbones and comparing both sides i cant see the wishbone bent at any point. I put a 10mm spanner against this ball joint rubber and compared it to the other side. I could have put a 15mm spanner against this one. Strangly enough this is the distance that the car is sagging on the os/f

Just want to know folks that can the lower arm ball joint also have this sagging effect on the car? how easy is it to replace? Do both sides need doing at the same time?
