Wheel swap on W212

first post here so please excuse any schoolboy errors. Have recently bought a 2014 E350 blutec AMG sport estate. Currently I have the 19 Inch wheels. Thinking of changing to 18 Inch AMG wheels with the same 245/40/18 (8.5J x 18 H2 ET 48) wheels and tyres front and back.

Has anyone done this? Any effect on the geo? Any experiences and advice welcome

AMG wheels are generally sold with staggered rears, ie front 8.5j ET48, rears 9j ET52-54.
Tyres for the above would be 245x40x18 fronts and 265x35x18 rears.

If you buy non AMG wheels, you are correct with your sizings for some models, and others are sold as staggered
Take a look at what is available, and what sizes you get for the W212 on this list. The tyre sizes recommended are below each wheel description.
