wheel tyre combo..

Hi .. I'm thinking of buying an SLK ... I think the great looks are sometimes spoiled by poor wheel choice ... I would fit 17" or 18" AMG wheels... some ebay shops sell amg replicas, however all 4 appear to be the same size, should the fronts differ from the rears? and what size tyres shoud be fitted? ... cheers

Check out the attached http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/mercedes_wheel_fitments.pdf all MB wheel & tyre fitments are listed. I would be very careful with non genuine wheels due to the way that MB center the wheels. A number of people have had issues with vibration due to wheels not centering.
