Biobcat i will second that .I think it all comes down to how Brewer is with his co worker . I mean the truck that ant did on Monday had a lovely blue paint job .And in comes Teabags Brewer leaned over and puts both his hands all over the wing and the bonnet . And yesterday they had this Dodge truck to work on,, .Brewer stopped just outside the workshop. Brewer gets out. And he did so without applying the hand brake,, so it started rolling backwards ,so he runs back and gets hold of the door jab and starts pushing on the door ,he forced the door right back on to the door check straps . I think i can count on one hand how many jobs teabags did in all the series that i have seen so far ..and i have seen a few .

John i have put the Sporting Bears in to my favorites to look at later .I have to go and see an old friend off on his final journey today at the crematorium .Only going to show my respect and stand out side, because we are not going in to the service , only 15 of the famiy allowed in side . Such bad times we are going through right now.

Since parting with my R170 SLK230 Auto I have spent quite some time scanning the Wheeler Dealers TV channel.
I am of the opinion that Mike Brewer is rather condescending but also quite patronising and does not/did not give Ed or Ant the credit that they rightfully deserved.
He always takes about ME ME ME first in any thing that he speaks of - does he forget that without the man with the spanners he would not have the cars to be selling with and turning a profit around.

At also has some excellent fabrication skills and I have enjoyed watching him work. I know he has every tool man can think of in the workshop but you still need to know how to use them.

The guy Edd used for his “give us a hand” scenes ran the actual workshop mechanicing, and was also responsible for buying the car- Brewer only did the on-camera work.

What we didn’t hear was the other side of the story where he was confronting them on why an engine needed to be pulled out completely other than it would make better watching,

I don't accept the notion that Edd only stood and watched spanner in hand and then jumped in to look busy.
Did the production company elves help out to get things done whilst he filmed something else?
of that I have no doubt.

Filming someone for hours to get a gearbox out is not a very clever use of a production teams time.

I have been on a few sets fairly recently whilst the youth worked there and the amount of people is surprising and consequently dear.

Well i thought the opposite . Ant would do repairs to items and show you how to go about it .But i liked them both .
