Right this is doing my head in now and i need major help!!

I have Brabus replica wheels on my car 18" (couldnt afford £5k for the real set)

Anyway the problem is when the wheels are on the center cap doesnt fit because the part on the hub is too long, 25mm to the domed cap and 40mm including the cap so the place i got them put on some 5mm universal spacers all round.

The problem is i get wobble through the steering wheel, the reason is the hub what the wheel fits onto is narrow at the end and is slightly wider where it meets the disc, that make sense? anyway the spacers take up this wider section which means the wheels are sitting on the narrower part and allowing slight movement causing the wobble. I cant take the spacers off because the center cap doesnt fit and also rubs on the suspension slightly.

So answer is hubcentric spacers?? ive tried looking for some but have been told they wont fit or cant get any thick enough? i dont really understand how they work and i dont want to bring the wheel out too far i also dont like the idea of spacers at all but obviously i have a problem.

All i want is the wheels to fit with the caps and no wobble! please help!!

I can get pics of any parts if it helps?

They're obviously not fit for purpose, and if you're experiencing wheel wobble that is not due to balancing then they're potentially lethal.

Take them back and demand a refund or a replacement of better replicas.

They're the wrong wheels for your car if they rub on the suspension without spacers and shouldn't have been sold to you. Can't they get wheels with the correct offset for your car?

Mercedes wheels are hubcentric, if you use wheels that are not hubcentric then you will never balance them, there are hubcentric spacers on the market, you do not say what the car is, but if you have a car with ESP and BAS then the ET must fall within the figures laid down in the chart in the link.
