i just fitted 7Jx15 zender alloys to my 95 E220 and when i brake hard there rubbing against the arch, gotta put my steels back on, or get smaller tyres ie low profiles, to much cost, check out the wheel info in ur manual and i would advise to fit the excact rec size....
the short answer to your question is No they won't fit.
The slightly longer answer is well, not really. On a 7J rim you are going to need an offset (ET) of 41 or 42. the 37mm offset on the C class wheels may be just enough to cause some contact and certainly enough to upset the steering geometry.
Of course you can always use a 5mm spacer to correct the difference but that's up to you. The bolt pattern should be identical.
you can fit different size wheels on a W124, just make sure that the offsets are correct.
I've got 8J x 16" rims from a W129 on my car with 225/50/16 tyres on to maintain the rolling radius and have no problems with rubbing etc and no modifications to the bodywork. There is a science to working out the exact offset/width ratio - most wheel specialists will be able to tell you what will fit and what won't.
