where are the injector threads

on a 53 reg w209, where are the injector threads sorry its a 2.7 diesel engine.on the head or the camshaft carrier

I'm assuming like other MB's the injector hold down bolts are held by the threads in the head.
Many a thread about these threads.

And the threads are only in the bottom few cm of the hole.
