Where can i find a CLC left Xenon headlight

Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone would be able to point me in the right direction.

I'm after front left bi xenon headlight for my 2010 CLC.

My car came with it as it has the jet wash on the bumpers for the headlights so I presume I'm correct that they are xenon and also they shine brighter.

I have searched high and low online and also tried breakers but to no success. Seems they are not so common on the CLC.

Tried a mercedes dealer. Often for rare parts they are the only hope.
Breakers unlikely to have as they are relative new cars (so not likely to be a write off / end up at breakers).

Was involved in a front end. Insurance will right off for anything. Bought the.car back off them as Minimal damage to the car hence my trying to source relevant parts. 600 is doable. If cheaper thats a bonus

Hmmmm I wouldnt say insurance writes anything off. Usually they stop counting at 70-80% value of car. Factoring in they use only genuine parts plus labour, paint etc, it soon adds up.

If your insurance co written it off - you should have asked them for a breakdown -
this usualy lists everyhing they need/to do to fix the car including thr part numbers.

Dont ask the insurance co directly, ask the repair centre.

600 for a headlight I bought a w168 diesel with 4 good tyre and Yr mot for 150! Cleared a trans fault n drove it a Yr. Before breaking it up for parts for our lother w168. So I think 600 for a plastic headlight is f bonkers.

I know right! Standard halogen ones you can pick up for 150-200 but as mine came with bi xenon it's a nightmare trying to find second hand ones. I was even checking copart to find a car that had them as your right cheaper to buy a wrecked car and get the parts of it but impossible to find one with my spec.

Insurers write off at around 50% book value.

Many cars have a jet wash onto the headlamps, don’t take it that that alone shows you have Xenon lamps.

To check put the VIN into a decoder, - it should tell you, - or disconnect battery, and remove unit and look at the lamp.

I'm well versed when it comes to car parts etc and knowing my vehicle spec to source parts but like I said CL203 with bi xenon are a rarity and a paid extra option to have from the manufacturing line hence my reaching out as that's the first thing I did was place my vin to list my car options and low and behold it did come with bi xenon and yes I agree with you most cars do havw lamp washers but find me a CLC bumper with one and I'll gladly take it off your hands.
