I've nothing against the RAF. Whenever I need to do something they always give me a ride there. ;)

In all seriousness though, fast jet pilots have got me out of some sticky situations in the past. One female Tornado pilot I fell in love with the day she did a show of force for me at 100ft on full burner. It was the best one I've ever seen and she sounded lush. She doesn't know it yet but she will be Mrs Carl No.3 one day. The current Mrs Carl (No.2) doesn't know it yet either.... :D :D

Now that ( The current Mrs Carl) is classic Wogan! God I miss Him in the morning on Radio 2. It was like a continuation of sleep!

Don't you mean the Royal Maureen's?

I love winding the ones up we have in work. When they start with their inevitable 'sh!te banter' I just remind them that no matter how they describe themselves. They are sailors pretending to be soldiers. ;)

Possibly, but I can't say that anymore, as I'm no longer able to outrun the huge moustaches like I used to!

With my sensible head on, I support the view that all branches excel - time & place, etc. Always had a soft spot for Harriers from whichever branch... And considerable respect for those that flew them! (Still maintain they wanted to be helicopters really... ;))

Doesn't stop the quality banter though!!! :D

My uncle was Fleet Air Arm, as I remember he was a winch operator /rescue swimmer on sea kings. I met a bunch of Marines in his company at the Royal Tournament at Earls Court when I was a kid They gave me a RM track suit that was my pride and joy until I outgrew it.
Also worked with a bloke who pleaded RM officer but the tattoo on his calf suggested something a little more racy. Great blokes, massively disciplined and one of the few things that make me proud to be British!

Carl, the Tornado pilot says hi from under my duvet!

Well that's pretty much done. Just need to get rid of the cardboard and then convince the wife we need to trim down the contents of the back wall!!!!

The next place I move to absolutely must have a (double) garage, ideally with a workshop/office/ XBox parlour above!

I always like these sort of pics, because I'm a travelling burglar, and it helps me see whats inside and what kind of security there is in place.:cool:

You're welcome to try. It's all insured and you'll do me a favour as I won't have to take what I don't want to the Charity shop or Tip. ;)

Simple equation then. I arrange to nick it, you get the over valued insurance and we split it.
