Where is the socket for the Immobiliser on an A Class?

I've just bought a '99 model A-class secondhand.

With the keys was a small electronic key with three terminals on each side, which from other discussions here I understand is for disabling the immobiliser when not using the remote control.

However, I can't find the socket which this should plug into - I've seen some suggestions such as the glove box in other threads, but there doesn't seem to be one there.

Can anyone tell me where I will find this socket, as I want to know where it is now, rather than searching around for it when there is a problem with the remote control on the key fob.

Ok

It was in the glove box afterall.

The first time I looked it was late evening, so I didn't see it. :D
